Pipeline Webinar Episode 14: Pushing Plastic Pipe
June 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM (CST)
Exploring the Possibilities of Using FPVC as Jacking Pipe
Please join us as we share an overview of our ongoing research and development on Fusible PVC (FPVC) and how it could potentially be installed in compression (i.e. Direct Pipe(R) or Microtunneling). We will discuss our testing program conducted at Louisiana Tech University and the potential applications of installing plastic pipe without relying on steel casing.
This webinar offers an opportunity to learn more about alternative trenchless methods and construction practices, and a discussion of what it takes to break new ground to do something that hasn’t been done before.
