Expertise
Jessica specializes in historical research and environmental site assessments to help clients evaluate the environmental risks of property ownership and redevelopment. “I have always had a fascination for how human history and the environment interact.” In college, Jessica majored in geology and chemistry, and minored in history. She realized she could combine these interests professionally during her first job as a staff geologist, drawn naturally to environmental assessment work.
At GeoEngineers, Jessica tries to find details that might affect the big picture of a project. “I like the sense of ownership we share over the work and the freedom and encouragement to ‘find a better way.’”
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys archery tournaments, hiking, camping and road trips with her family. When she’s able to find a rare moment of downtime, she enjoys needlework and photography.
