We are thrilled to introduce Chelsie Franck, an exceptional intern at our GeoEngineers Baton Rouge office. Chelsie has embraced a diverse range of responsibilities, immersing herself in the intricacies of soil testing, data retrieval, sample collection, extrusion, and soil classification. Her hands-on involvement in these tasks has provided her with a solid foundation in essential engineering practices.
In addition to her technical work, Chelsie has been instrumental in assisting with local permitting efforts. Her contributions in this area have demonstrated her ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, a crucial skill for any aspiring engineer.
Chelsie believes that this internship will be invaluable in understanding the fundamental aspects of engineering. By engaging directly with the basic processes and seeing projects through from start to finish, she has gained a profound appreciation for the meticulous work that underpins successful engineering projects.
Currently, Chelsie is working on numerous coastal projects that support the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA). Her efforts are making a tangible impact on important environmental initiatives, further highlighting her dedication to her field.
