Intisar Ahmed Wins ASCE New Faces 2025 Award

Project Geotechnical Engineer Intisar Ahmed, PE, has been honored as one of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) 2025 New Faces of Civil Engineering. This prestigious national recognition is awarded to ten collegiate honorees who are undergraduate students and ten professional honorees who are under 30 years of age. Intisar was selected as one of the ten professional honorees. ASCE looks for honorees who demonstrate outstanding community service, organizational leadership, communication skills, and industry involvement.

Intisar moved to Seattle, Washington and joined GeoEngineers in 2024, and in the short time since he has already become extremely active in the ASCE Seattle Section; specifically the Younger Members Forum and Geo-Institute Seattle Section Geotechnical Group.
