Dion is an administrative coordinator based in Redmond. He supports staff and visitors, reviews documents for quality assurance, and assists the equipment team. His work helps create a reliable and welcoming office environment where staff can focus on their projects and clients can count on a professional experience.

“I’ve always wanted to help people,” Dion says. “I value sustainability, and I like working in a team environment.”

This collaborative mindset carries through his work, whether he’s coordinating logistics, supporting project teams, or building relationships across departments.

Dion brings a unique background in policy, international development, and research to his current role. Prior to joining GeoEngineers, he worked as a Mixed Methods Researcher, where he conducted both qualitative and quantitative research. He then moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to work with UNICEF Cambodia as an International Evaluations Intern, helping to coordinate project reviews, plan events, and support global initiatives like World Children’s Day.

After returning to the U.S., Dion worked as an Assistant Project Manager, supporting USAID-funded programs around the world. From infrastructure improvements in the Middle East to sustainability projects in Southeast Asia and disease monitoring in Sierra Leone, his work spanned diverse sectors and global communities.

Dion earned a Master of Arts in International Policy and Development from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in 2020, along with two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Washington Bothell in Global Studies and American Ethnic Studies. He’s currently expanding his technical skills through a GIS certificate from Michigan State University and hopes to transition into a more technical role at GeoEngineers in the future.

Outside of work, Dion enjoys coaching middle school soccer, hosting dinner parties with friends, cooking new meals, traveling, and exploring different cultures through food and music.
