Expertise
Ken chose his career for a simple reason, “I want to help restore the environment and leave the world better than I found it.” His experience puts him an position to do just that. Ken worked for Puget Sound-area consulting firms before coming to GeoEngineers, building a consulting practice and leading multi-disciplinary projects from inception through construction. He particularly likes the challenge of bringing a project from an idea to execution.
In 2011, Ken joined GeoEngineers to provide leadership to environmental engineering projects and to help bring together GeoEngineers’ core competencies of natural resources assessment, permitting and environmental restoration. “I was attracted by the opportunities to collaborate with a strong team of great staff and to work on larger and more-exciting projects,” Ken relates.
Ken’s work and leisure interests often overlap. He explains, “I love boating on Puget Sound and enjoy working on projects to restore marine environments and improve boating facilities.” In his free time, Ken also enjoys skiing, home remodeling and being actively involved with his two middle-school-aged sons.
